Meet Our Doctors

Marvin Leigh Speer, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Speer attended Northern Illinois University for his undergraduate studies.  He was accepted to Loyola University School of Dentistry,in Chicago Illinois, where he graduated with honors.  After Dental School he was accepted into the Endodontic speciality program at Loyola University where he completed a Master of Science in Immunology and a Endodontic residency. After his training, Dr. Speer entered the Air Force and served as Chief of Endodontics, and Consultant to the Surgeon General at Scott AFB. He left the Air Force in 1976 as a Major.  Dr. Speer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. His wife of 39 years is Patricia and they have one son David.  More>>


Katherine Toole Behrents, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Behrents was born and raised in Pine Bluff, AR.  She attended Arkansas Tech University and in 2003 graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She then moved to Memphis and attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.  She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors in May of 2007.  After dental school, Dr. Behrents was accepted into the endodontic residency program at St. Louis University.  In June 2009 she received a Certificate of Endodontics and Masters of Science in Dental Research.  After completion of  her residency, she began working with Dr. Speer in Festus, MO.  Dr. Behrents is actively pursuing Diplomate status by the American Board of Endodontics.  Dr. Behrents married her husband, Dr. Nathaniel Behrents, December 13, 2008.  Nate is also a dentist and is currently a resident in the endodontic program at St. Louis University where he is scheduled to graduate in June 2011.  More>>
